Well, the summer has come to an end. I’ve always really, really enjoyed fall. Until I had children, now all I can think about is who’s going to be sick next? ;) But, the the long days are becoming shorter and shorter, and the kids are going to bed earlier and earlier. There’s a bright side to everything, right?

It was early August last year, the weather man had been predicting storms all day. If you know me, you know that my least favorite thing in all of the world is a thunderstorm. I’m a bit afraid of them. To say I’m a bit afraid of them is really just an understatement. I’m actually terrified. So here we are, early August, late summer storm and my husband declares “lets go outside!”

Really? OUTSIDE? Don’t you HEAR that sound?!

But being the wonderfully submissive and loving wife that I am, I reluctantly agree. Being afraid of thunderstorms is not something I would like to pass down as a legacy. :)

Here is the story of the thunderstorm. And really, she enjoyed herself.

Well, I recently joined a group of a few other busy photographers who decided to commit to a 12 month project! If we fail this, we’ll be taking donations for a time management seminar. The best part is that it will be totally candid, lifestyle shots of each of our own families/lives. We don’t even have to dredge up random people or make our kids pose for us. We’re calling the series “The Story of ________” and we’ll each be filling in our own blanks. This is the story of the much anticipated arrival of my twin boys! My due date was October 17th, 2011. They waited until October 11th, 2011 to arrive. At exactly 39 weeks.
